In this post, I will be showing you how to connect Table to a wireless router in packet tracer.
By default, the network interface card of end-host devices like laptops, phones, and tablets has a wireless module on its network interface card and therefore can readily connect to a wireless network. This is unlike what is obtainable on some end-host devices, like PCs and laptops. These groups of devices have an Ethernet module on their network interface cards. For devices to connect to a wireless network, we need to replace the Ethernet module with a wireless module.
In this post, I will be showing you how to connect the tablet shown in the network topology above to the wireless router.
Note: I completed the wireless router configuration in a separate post. I configured the wireless router as a DHCP server and configured it to broadcast wireless signals with an SSID (netizzan) and password (netizzan). Consider checking out the posts below to learn how to do it.

How to Connect Tablet to Wireless Router
To connect a tablet to a wireless router, navigate to the Wireless0 interface of the tablet and enter the SSID and password configured on the wireless router. The tablet will be connected to the wireless router automatically.
Because DHCP services are configured on the wireless router, the tablet will automatically obtain an IP address from the DHCP server once it is connected to the network. Hence, there is no need for you to manually configure the IP address in the table before it can be reached by other host devices.
If there is no DHCP server on the network, then you will need to configure an IP address for the tablet by going to Config>Wireless, selecting “Static” in the IP configuration section, and then manually entering the IP address.
Remember to configure the IP address of the default gateway if you are configuring the wireless interface manually by going to config tab>setting
